CDG Hackathon 2025 x 3 King Mongkut’s Universities: A Journey of Growth and Inspiration
The curtain has closed on CDG Hackathon 2025, held in collaboration with the three King Mongkut’s Universities, and what a remarkable journey it has been!
From day one, students poured their hearts into this challenge—studying the problem statement, researching solutions, and refining their ideas again and again. Along the way, our mentors pushed them to think deeper, to challenge their own limits, and to rebuild stronger. Every step made their work sharper, their confidence greater, and their dreams bigger.
When the Final Pitching Day arrived at CDG House, we saw 17 brilliant teams—chosen from over 32 applicants—step onto the stage with passion in their eyes and determination in their voices. In front of judges, mentors, and peers, they presented not just solutions, but bold visions of the future. It was a powerful reminder of how much they had grown since the very beginning.
This year’s challenge, “Trust in Tech: AI – Power and KYC for Smart Public Services,” inspired fresh perspectives and bold ideas. Some teams stood out with truly groundbreaking approaches, earning recognition and awards for their outstanding work. But every single participant left the stage as a winner—with new skills, greater confidence, and the courage to dream even bigger.

The CodeTheirDreams team delivered Game Coding workshops to students atRajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi,and those students later passed on their knowledge by teaching more than 450 Grade 12 students. CDG Welcomes DSI Students from KMUTT CDG Group was delighted to welcome first-year students from the Digital Service Innovation (DSI) program, School of Information Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), for an on-site learning visit and an inside look into real-world tech careers Our HR leadership team opened the session with a warm welcome and shared valuable insights on career paths in the tech industry. The students also joined a special knowledge session on Green Software, exploring how technology can reduce environmental impact and support a more sustainable digital future Thank you to all the students for visiting CDG! CDG x Hackathon by 42 in Asia 2025 “Code What You See. Change What You Build.” CDG Group teamed up with five campuses across the 42 Network in Asia, bringing together tech talents from five countries for a high-intensity, 5-day challenge — including a nonstop 42-hour hack with mentorship from our CDG experts. This year’s theme: AI-Powered Document Management for Smart Governance using AI + OCR to turn massive documents into searchable, automated, and transparent data. Winner: 42 Tokyo – “Thai-Kaetai: I Want to Transform Thailand” A user-friendly automation solution with a vision to accelerate Thailand’s digital future. Khun Cherry Treeratchayakorn Kaewpanya shared insights on “AI and Digital Business Trends,” inspiring students to understand how emerging technologies are transforming today’s business landscape. At CDG, we believe in empowering young talent to learn, grow, and shape the digital future.
CDG Road Show @ SUT CDG team had the chance to meet 3rd-year students from Computer Engineering and Social Technology, Suranaree University of Technology. We opened the door to a Real Work, Real Impact internship experience. Two CDG alumni who interned with us in 2024 — and are now full-time employees — came back to share their journey. They talked about everything:the fun, the challenges, and the real learning that shaped their careers. Flow Soft (CDGS) Students experienced how automation can streamline workflows and shift focus toward higher-value work. Enabling ArcGIS with AI (Esri Thailand) AI + ArcGIS revealed how location data can analyze, predict, and simulate real-world scenarios—leading to questions like: “How can GeoAI solve problems in our city?” Digital ID & Digi Vote (CDT) Strong interest around trust, transparency, and the future of secure digital systems. Internship & New Grad Opportunities (CDG HR) Career conversations turned into discussions about purpose and the impact tech talent can create for Thailand. This event reminded us that the future of Thailand’s tech ecosystem is being shaped by young people who think boldly and build with intention. Thank you to everyone who joined us.
